Prof. Dr. Rudolf Lückmann (subject Architecture) was re-approved for a second term in office as Vice President for Research and Foreign Relations. As Chairman of the Senate Committee for Research, he coordinates the research and transfer activities with the 10 affiliated institutes, the Center of Life Sciences and regional businesses. His remit also includes the university's Foreign Students Office, maintaining close cooperative relations with more than 70 partner universities worldwide and, in close collaboration with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), controlling the use of support programmes of the DAAD and EU (SOKRATES; ERASMUS).
He is also site spokesman for the Dessau site.
