Vice-President International Affairs

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Rudolf Lückmann is Vice-President for International Affairs. He was appointed Professor of Structural Design and Monumental Heritage Conservation in 1993. As Vice-President, Prof. Lückmann chairs the Senate Sub-Committee for International Affairs and is in charge of the University’s International Office, which is responsible for coordinating cooperations with more than 70 international partner institutions. The University’s International office also works with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), managing grants from federal/DAAD and EU grant programmes at Anhalt University. Professor Lückmann’s internationalization strategy seeks to broaden Anhalt University’s international character by utilizing the full potential of the university’s Preparatory College (Landesstudienkolleg) and its departments. As Vice-President, Professor Lückmann is also the Campus Representative for Anhalt University’s Dessau Campus.
