Prof. Dr. Carola Griehl (subject Biotechnology/Biochemistry) was re-approved for a second term as Vice President for Academic Studies and Teaching from 01.01.2008 to 31.12.2011. As Chairwoman of the Senate Committee for Academic Studies and Teaching, she works with the committee to organise the academic reform processes – modularisation, introduction of the credit points system, quality assurance and accreditation. She is in charge of the Department of Student Affairs, a contact and service centre for the organisation of academic studies and the Language Centre of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. As site spokeswoman for the Köthen site, she also represents the interests of the town of Köthen in the Presidium.
