Equal Rights Representatives

The Equal Rights Representatives of the university, the departments and the administration are elected by all female members of the university for a two-year term. Their tasks are defined by the Higher Education Act and the Advancement of Women Act of the state of Saxony-Anhalt.The Equal Rights Representative of the university deals with all matters and requirements relating to women. She can initiate measures for the advancement of women and has direct right of access and recitation vis-à-vis the university management. She works to ensure that women are appropriately represented on university bodies. The Equal Rights Representative is authorised to participate in all meetings of the collegiate organs in an advisory capacity.She cooperates on the Equal Rights Committee with the Equal Rights Representatives of the departments and the administration.
