Food Science Technology and Business

The two-year European Master of Science in Food Science, Technology and Business (BIFTEC) is jointly organized by three European partner institutions: KU Leuven, Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and Catholic University of Portugal. It fosters innovation and technology to help you cope with future needs and sustainablility.

RequirementsPrerequisites for admission is an academic Bachelor in Science degree [BSc] with excellent grades in relevant subjects such as Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Food Science and Technology, or Engineering or cognate subject area at least one ECTS grade "grade C". Furthermore an equivalent qualification. Start of this study is the first day of winter semester at KU Leuven (Belgium). The partial study at Anhalt University of Applied Science [HSA] usually starts on the first day of the summer semester. Students of HSA with a first university degree can also complete individual modules offered by HSA from this course  within a maximum of two-semester modules studies.  Applicants who have not completed their school education up to university or university level at an English-speaking institution should also demonstrate an international level of knowledge of English language (TOEFL 550 paperbased / 213 computer-based or IELTS score 6,5).
