competence network
The transfer tool. KAT competence network
The competence network for applied and transfer-oriented research (KAT) is a collective initiative by the universities of the State of Saxony-Anhalt and is being progressively expanded with the support of the Culture Ministry. KAT is a transfer project and positions itself as a key partner for companies and networks from the business, academic and political spheres. As a link between the universities of the State of Saxony-Anhalt and the business community and society of the region, the network focuses primarily on the following fields of activity:
- Knowledge and technology transfer
- Personnel transfer and exchange
- Further training
With the aim of honing and strengthening the available capacities for application-oriented research and technology transfer, research competence centres are being established and expanded at the universities through close cooperation between the network partners. Building on the available potential, the LIFE SCIENCES Competence Centre has been set up at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. The following partner universities are currently participating in the competence network for applied and transfer-oriented research:
- Hochschule Anhalt (FH)
- Hochschule Harz (FH)
- Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal (FH)
- Hochschule Merseburg (FH)
