Make decisions and monitor processes that bring quality management forward: industrial engineers work in almost all branches of industry, fulfilling technical and business-related functions as well as taking up company management positions. Their background is comprehensive knowledge of business administration and engineering. At the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, customer and market orientation take priority – among other things in Logistics Management, Production Planning and Production Management, Marketing and Sales, Controlling, Quality and Project Management, in Strategic Business Planning and in International Management. The practice focus is already introduced in the second semester: simulating corporate planning and analysing complex operational situations. ’Learning by Doing’, often in small student teams, is the teaching principle – flanked by solid theoretical knowledge.
