The highly practice-based course goes far into modern quality management. It deals with Nutritional Physiology, Sensory Analysis, Hygiene and with technological and economic requirements. In addition to managerial positions in the food and home economics industry and with consumer organisations, work in consumer and nutrition counselling is also possible.
