Nature Conservation and Landscape Planning
This Master’s course which is unique in Germany is consistently oriented towards the requirements of nature conservation. It is not least demanding EU law which frequently provides important stimulus for the course. Sound natural science and ecological knowledge of habitats and species form the focus of the course. Students learn methods of assessment and evaluation and advance their planning skills. The content of the course includes nature conservation law and independent management of nature conservation projects. The content builds on the respective Bachelor’s degree. Independent scientific work is therefore important. The highly international course encompasses many international aspects, natural conservation guidelines and international research projects. Graduates have good opportunities for working worldwide.
