Courses Department Applied Biosciences and Process Engineering
Food Technology
Building on the Bachelor’s degree course in Food Technology, this Master’s course additionally widens the scientific horizon. The knowledge base is systematically expanded, the latest findings are incorporated and far-reaching specialisations are developed from a solid foundation. Within four semesters, the necessary additional tools in the areas of engineering, mathematics and natural science are taught for preparing graduates for demanding tasks or a career in science. This is all embedded in the business-related, ecological and safety requirements of the food industry. Graduates master the planning, controlling and monitoring of complex technological processes, plants and equipment.
