Information Management
Information managers transform information into knowledge. They adapt information into a comprehensible form. And they use this information where it is needed. Typical tasks of future information managers: planning, development and operation of information systems. Linguistic correctness also counts. Links with the Software Localisation degree course are therefore envisaged. The acquisition of technical skills also belongs to this practically oriented course. The prospects for information managers are good. Accordingly trained specialists are needed for dealing with the valuable resource that is knowledge in companies of all sizes. Freelance work e.g. in knowledge management is also a good option.
