Membrane Structures is a degree course that is unique in the world. It is aimed at graduates from the fields of Civil Engineering, Architecture, Geoinformatics, Mechanical Engineering, Facility Management, Industrial Engineering and from other areas. Over four semesters, students are provided with extensive specialist knowledge in the field of building with membrane structures – all in English. As an almost entirely Internet-based degree, it is possible to study and work from practically anywhere in the world. The three semester learning phase with one week of attendance time each (and Internet supervision) is followed by the fourth semester with the Master’s thesis. This international degree course brings together international membrane building experts at the historical Bauhaus – and trains specialists for textile building for whom new opportunities are opened up worldwide.
