Courses Department Economics
Business Administration
This course provides a foundation for business administration. This generalised programme of business training is followed by a specialisation such as marketing, accounting/company taxation or company management. The strong cooperation with other degree courses such as Economic Law, Property Management Studies and International Business particularly provides valuable additional input. International contacts are not just an empty phrase but form a logical connection with the previous sentence. The course is clearly structured: three semesters of compulsory subject modules constituting the foundation study phase are followed by the required optional modules that constitute the area of specialisation. Afterwards, students are given their first taste of the practice world. The compulsory twelve-week work placement is carried out after the fourth or fifth semester. The Bachelor’s degree offers many job opportunities for starting out in a career e.g. in middle management, both in Europe and globally. The Master’s degree course which builds upon the Bachelor’s degree offers even more opportunities.
