Master Courses Department Applied Biosciences and Process Engineering
Biotechnology
The Master’s degree builds on the Bachelor's degree course. It provides above all a greater degree of specialisation. Graduates will be able to carry out far-reaching microbiological and genetic work. They research biotechnological processes and develop respective processes. Students learn how to conceptually design and operate the required equipment, opening up the doors to challenging fields of research and work. A special feature of the course is the specialisation after the fourth semester. The specialisations offered are Molecular Biotechnology or Bioprocess Engineering. Its strong relation to practice, the incorporation of work placements and the excellent technical facilities make this degree course the first choice for all those who want to get an extra step ahead.
