Distance Study Department Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering

Electrical Engineering (distance)

Well-qualified graduates of Electrical and Information Engineering are very much sought after. The six-semester Bachelor’s degree seeks to train not specialists but rather practice-oriented system engineers. Experts that are able to conceptualise, design, implement and maintain networked electrotechnical systems. The curriculum includes expertise in subjects such as electrical engineering, information engineering, methodology and languages. If you are interested in natural sciences and technology, are not afraid of mathematics and are keen to get involved in engineering tasks, you will find a highly interesting programme of training here. Students can select one of the following fields of specialisation according to their own interests after the fourth semester: Automation, Electrotechnology and Environmental Technology, Information Engineering or Communication Engineering. An integrated work placement of 18 weeks offers a direct relation to practice. This opportunity of directly applying the acquired knowledge is often the first step into a job!
