Bachelor Courses Department Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering: one of the most important pillars of the German economy – and one of the most popular technical disciplines. The degree at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences is as traditional as it is modern. Right from the start priority is given to the practical side of mechanical engineering – underpinned by a solid and reliable theoretical foundation. The students become familiarised with the basic engineering working methods – and are prepared step by step for working independently under their own responsibility. Technical Mechanics, Construction and Computer Aided Design (CAD), Materials and Production are featured on the programme. The compact degree course leads to interesting professional fields. Mechanical engineering graduates work in research, design and development. They can be found in production preparation and production, machine and plant maintenance and quality assurance, in civil service or working on a self-employed basis for engineering firms.
